Revelation

Ahah! Now I know ... It's been 2 days already. I've realised and came to know that mama and papa are off somewhere and will be returning home today. I'm really angry now, ... how can they go off on their trip without ME! For that, I will ignore them when they come through the door. That will teach them to leave me behind. hummpphhh!!!

What's going on Ilya?

Hmmm ... something fishy is going on here. When I woke up today, mama and papa are not to be found. However, Tok Din and Nek Jah seemed to have slept over with Alya and Solehah. No one's telling me anything. Even big bro seems not to be agitated by this mystery. Hmmm ...

Biker Babes

I had a big surprise yesterday. It seems that Nek Jah and Tok Din has bought for me a bicycle. It is supposedly to be for my birthday! Birthday? If my calculations are correct, my birthday is still like, a month away? But as all todds would say, if it’s a present … give me, give me… hihihi. When I tried it the first time, I was a bit confused with the contraption. The handle bars go left and right, but the foot pedal goes round and round but I was still not moving? Then, big bro told me I was pedaling backwards and that’s the reason why I’m not moving forwards. Aaaaahh! Now I get it. But pedaling forwards is so darn difficult! Maybe if I practice more, I’ll be zipping down the roads in no time? I want to create a biker gang for girls only. We would call ourselves the Wild Hugs. The boys would be so scared of us because we would go around and give hugs to all boys and give them cooties … hihihihi. Anyone wants to join up?

Twins Effect

Shukur and Shukri came by today. It’s been a long time I’ve met them but they don’t seem to mind me at all. They were more engrossed with playing with big bro on the Xbox. But at least I’ve got to play with Alya. She came too, with Nek Jah. We had lots of fun, well I did anyways … by trying to take away her balloons…hihihi. Today was also the day to give the twins their birthday presents. Papa bought for them a long time ago but couldn’t find the time to actually give it to them personally. Their 5th birthday, by the way was last week. Here are they opening their presents. They seemed to love those big turtles. Why? Beats me? They looked SO green. Ewwwww!!! Papa was saying he was “stiffed” – whatever that means – because there was no birthday cake to eat. Come to think of it, he’s right, where was the birthday cake??

Seeing Stars

Ouchh!!! I had a knock, a big one, on my cheek. That’s the one on the face. I was running around, no reason but just having fun, when I accidentally tripped on something and wham my face hit the edge of the coffee table. I had the most excruciating pain on my face that I have ever felt. Mama says there’s a curved bluish mark on my face now. Oh well, since the pain and the crying has stopped, it’s time to run again. Bye.

Smooth Skin

I made a big mess today. You know me and my ever continuing quest to find things that I can get my hands on and do stuff with them. Well today, I managed to get my hands on my baby lotion bottle, by climbing up a stool I took to the reach the top of sis chest of drawers. Once, I’ve got hold of that bottle, there was no stopping me as I lathered myself from head to toe to pamper my sensitive, silky skin. But through a bit of carelessness, most of it ended up on the floor and the carpet and on big sis toys. Some were on the wooden drawers and maybe some more on a edge of the bed. Maybe small splotches here and there…. Yah … here and there. When mama finally caught me, she absolutely blew a fuse. Luckily, she was so mad that she forgot to take a keepsake of me, well oiled. Maybe another time perhaps? … hihihihi.

The Refrigerator ... I'll be back!

I have a new "annoyance" now. That's what my parents are calling it but to me, it is part of my learning progress. I now, LOVE opening the fridge door. Ever since I watched everyone opening and closing that white smooth door and magically holding some goodies in their hand and munching thereafter, that magical white box fascinated me. I've watched this phenomenon for a long time ... yes I have! I've even tested the big heavy door but to no avail. However, after a successful mission, that is opening the door successfully a few days back, I've learnt that with a bit of body leverage and angular force, that big door opens easily. Now, there's no stopping me...hihihihi. Mama is exasperated with me because she has to keep an eye out for me whenever I disappear from her sight for a period of time. And of course, I will be at the fridge, enjoying the cool air emanating from the fridge and trying to grab food like Yakult, fruits and anything remotely colourful! She has warned me countless number of times, but you know toddlers, when we learn things, we will try doing the same thing a LOT of times. Papa called it the memory muscle of a toddler. Mama had tried putting up a safety latch, but Incredible ME is still able to yank the latch off... hihihi.

The Dance Floor

Papa has just finished editing this clip. He's getting moviemaking-crazy; cutting and chopping movies that mama had taken these past few months. You guys have seen "So You Think You Can Dance" and "The Dance Floor"? .... I'm proud, yes I am,.. to present to you the World Premiere of my liitle dance routine. Come on guys, pump up the volume now! Saw the bootylicious wag and a little bit of headbanging action. I try to infuse a lot of dance styles in my routine...hihihihi. When I heard the little ditty on tv, I absolutely loved it ...and so did my big bro and big sis. They would go into their own rendition of the song. Well, quite a bad rendition actually ... hihihihi. Okay, okay, back to me, I would swing and sway when the synthesized sounds start to play. It was a great song mind you.
