More Books!

Here's something that is long past overdue. I meant to write this earlier but things have gone haywire these past few weeks. I borrowed a few books recently. Well, now it's not recent...hihihi.

One of the 4 books that I was allowed to borrow stood out. It was about hand signals for toddlers for better communication. And I don't mean "No Smoking", "No Left Turn" or "Walking on Grass is prohibited" kind of signs. Mama said it has something to do with me communicating my wants to everyone else.

"Yes, I know I'm slow at talking but you can't rub it in with borrowing this book mama" Some of the hand signs looks easy to do, like napping; put 2 hands together on your cheeks and simulate sleeping.

And banana; straighten a finger, use the other hand to peel an imaginary finger-banana. No worries, I'll do what I can ... my own way. And if no one understands me then it's their loss not mine.

Books!

Mama brought us to the library recently. Since I’m the toddler with THE borrowing power, I was really excited to maximize my library card. Alas, I couldn’t use up my allocated maximum of 4 books. But what I did get was 3 superb books nonetheless.

Of the 3 books that I borrowed, I absolutely loved the Hugs story. Papa couldn’t understand the plot behind the hugging story. When you get big hugs being done on you when the part comes in the story… who cares about the reasons why? Hug! Hug! Hug ... I loved it.

The “Good Night!” story was a little bit too long; I kind of lost interest in the story by the time the girl went to find her doll, Zoe.

The last book about Kevin going to school was fun too. The colours were bright and the drawings were big and bold. I like these kinds of books.

I can’t wait for the next time when we go to the library.

Official Bookworm

Mama brought me to the library today. I’ve been to the library countless number of times. Rows and rows of books, how to finish reading them?

But today, mama decided that since I loved reading/looking at books, she registered me as a member of the National Library Board.

Don’t you just love it? My very own card. And to think I’m an official member of the NATIONAL library!. Do I have to wear a tie now or something?

Having seen what book-borrowing powers this card can do, I immediately went around searching for those colourful books which I loved to flip.

I searched high, I searched low.
I searched sideways, to and fro.
4 books are what I need.
4 books for me to read.
