I am 2 years old today!

Sleep NOT tight

And the bed bugs didn’t bite either. I had the worst headache ever. Nope, not because of fever but I kind of like, I did the vertical drop whilst sleeping. It happen yesternite. I had no idea what went wrong but according to papa, he heard a thud and a loud cry whilst surfing. So he shot like an arrow over to the bed and found me lying on the floor, crying. I had a bruise under my eye and it hurts like no other. It reminded of Nek Jah when she had her bruise due to falling too. I am in pain. Mama said the last time I fell over from the bed was like aeons ago. I can’t even remember blogging about it. That long huh? Or is it amnesia setting in due to the hard knock. Hmmmm …. Ouch, thinking make it hurt more.

Sponges, I tells you, sponges!

Adults never listen to us. What did we say about babies and toddlers? We are like sponges, our brain start empty and we want and will find things, good or bad, to fill it up. But nooooo, they don't listen, and they do everything in front of us, and so we follow. Look at this and never blame me. Guess what I mimicked? An elephant? A balloon blowing act? ... anymore guesses? Give up? It's mama's sinus problem. Go fig?

Plum tired

What a weekend I had! Play and eat was the order of the day or the 2 days. On Saturday, we went to Along's. Everybody came. Everyone seemed alright except for the twins. They were walking funny. Hmmmm, very strange indeed. But they still play well though. MakLong set up a playhouse on the balcony and we had a great time playing house. Then, the feast. The Sunday meeting, we went to Obe' Zai's place. Not every came ... Abg Omar and Kak Lyana were missing. However, that didn't stop me from playing with my other cousins though. All the kids gathered in their groups, big bro and the rest of the big boys plunked in front of the PC. Big sis with the girl cousins went into one the rooms to play house/classroom thingy, leaving me to play with whom else, Fayyadh and sometimes Jabbir. I was running, pushing and hiding everywhere. It was fun squared. And of course after that, it's makan time. Now, I'm bushed. Its recovery time before the next weekend comes along.

The words of wisdom are back everyone. I have scaled the highest mountain and swam the deepest ocean to find these pearls. Okay, maybe with a little help from papa and few clicks of the mouse. Make it Sensei

The good stuff just keeps on coming. Yesterday, Nek Jah called again to "complain" to mama on a new "good" activity that Alya has picked up from her 2 day sleepover here. It's something I do naturally, ... I would pick up a stool from one of the rooms and bring it over to places I can't reach to or see. Like reaching to a doorknob, trying to open a closed door that was specifically closed so that I would not get in. Like peering over the kitchen counter to observe mama cooking or preparing my food. Like giving more height, so that I can grab anything on big sis or bro's table or drawer. I think I should be upgraded to professorship or something since I impart my skills to my minions ... eh ... learners.

Walking record ... Busted!

I've completely forgotten about this until mama reminded me. Well, a couple of weeks ago, Fynna came a-visiting. And lo and behold, she showed us her walking skills. I give credit when it's due and she was awesome. At 8 9 months and walking like a pro. Man, she beat her own father's (Along that is) record in fastest to learn to walk. Hurrah for Fynna. Must have learnt it from me during those times when I visited her ... hihihi. I can hear the rumblings from Jurong Kecil already ... hahahahah.

Call me "Sifu"

I’ve just heard a very funny story. A few days after Alya returned to her own home after bunking out at my place last week … during Nek Jah’s babysitting stint, Alya has carried out her own practice to the lesson I taught her. {big grin} Which lesson you might ask? Remember this entry? Hehehehe … well, good old Alya has taken the tutorial to heart and bathed herself in body lotion … not once but twice. I don’t know whether to feel proud or admiration? Nek Jah has been complaining to mama about this, and so did Asu I heard. This was only for 2 days she’s been here, think of the possibilities I could teach her in 1 week. {sly grin} Hmmmm … that sounds mighty tempting.
