Alya's Birthday Bash
It had been a long time since I've updated my blog. It's not that I'm lazy or what. I've been busy, you know....being a toddler. Okay... enough of the blah, blah, blah ... to make the story short, yesterday we went to my cousin Alya's 3rd Birthday Bash. All my uncles, aunts & cousins were there for the celebration. But it seems that the birthday girl was not feeling well and was a little bit under the weather. Awwwwww ... But enough of that .....I soooo loved her birthday cake. It had a pretty Princess figure on top of it. The cupcakes was nice and delicious too. There were lots of party games played and they were organised by my Along , now the certified party games planner for children's party. Hurray ... I'm promoting his services to get a bit of commission ... hihihihi. And of course, at all party games, the majority of the prizes were won by big brother & sister. We rule the school!!! errr ... party Labels: Birthday |

Sea World
The next day I went to Sea World. When I reached there, the door was still shut, and the queue getting longer by the minute. Mama & papa took turns in the queue. Once we were inside, the first thing that papa did was to rent a stroller for me. He's learning, my papa. Doesn't want another Carrara Markets debacle ... hehehehe I saw a few dolphins in the Dolphin Nursery. Nice fishes, these dolphins. I was told that they were the fastest animal in the world. Sure? faster than me? Let see them run on land! I went to the newest attraction ... The Sesame Street Beach. There was plentiful rides everywhere. I rode on a helicopter and then hopped to the carousel, a train, a plane ... Later whilst I was still enjoying the rides, I was dragged away to a large round stage. Only when the show started, I realised it was the Sesame Street gang!! I saw Big Bird, Cookie Monster and the rest. But best of all, Elmo appeared ... and he was singing and dancing on the stage. I couldn't believe my eyes. Luckily, papa managed to capture him dancing and singing so that I can show off to you guys. After the show, I went to the Fish Detective Sea Lion Show where the seals were performing on stage. On our way out, abang had a bad fall. Mama had to put two bandages on his knee ... isk .. isk .. isk .... A word of advice to my bro, because I know sometimes he reads my stuff behind my back ... next time look where you're going, okay? Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Park
On our 2nd day in Gold Coast, we went to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. It looks like a zoo and a birdpark rolled into one. I saw lots of parrots or what the locals call "lorikeets" in the trees. It was their feeding time in the morning and I really wanted to feed the birds but they just plain refused to come down. The guide told us that when the birds come to feed, it would be in the thousands and it would had been a beautiful sight. But for now, we had to imagine it ... hahahahaha I saw a lot of pelicans and many other water birds like ducks in the mangrove swamps. I even managed to see the eels and people feeding the eels. And there were a whole bunch of these slimy creatures, all fighting to be fed...ewww. But the best part was the kangaroo area. These hippity-hoppity animals are just lovely to watch. I even managed to hand fed one of the kangaroo myself. The nibbling was ticklish but the accompanied saliva was just awful, utterly gross out ... but it was a great experience for me. From Currumbin, we went to Carrara Markets. Mama was in smiling from end to end since this itinerary was postponed on the 1st day. We had to take a public bus there from Pacific Fair. Carrara Markets is actually one big flea market. It has a lots of shops selling different things or trinkets. By afternoon, I was bushed tired. I refused to walk any further until someone carried me. The day became so hot that we relaxed in a cafe while mama went looking for her beads next door. Mama later browsed in a few second hand books and she ended up buying 3 books. Later, due to a miscommunication between papa and our driver, who was supposed to pick us up and sent us back to the hotel. In the end, we had to wait for nearly an hour. Back in the room, I was so exhausted that I fell asleep whilst drinking my milk. Labels: Holidays |

My first flying trip ... to Gold Coast
It's been a long time since I've updated anything. And I think it's time to update my blog, since I've just came back from my holiday. On 7th Dec, mama & papa had planned to bring all of us for a holiday in Gold Coast, Australia. Reached the airport about 7.30pm for our flight. We were sent off by my mama's side of the family. I tell you....the whole lot of them .... including all my cousins. Since it's the first time I'm taking the plane, I've got a difficult time adjusting to the constantly staying still in my seat position. hahahahaha ... me staying still. That's a misnomer. You see.....I love playing with the seat belts....but mama says no and to stay put since the plane is about to take off. Well, she tried. We finally take off at about 12.05am. We reached Brisbane Airport at 9.30am (S'pore time 7.30am), after about 7 1/2 hr of flight. We were supposed to go to Carrara Market after we've checked in our hotel at around 12.30pm. But we only managed to clear the customs at around 11.00am. By the time we reached the hotel at 12.45pm, the minibus to Carrara Market had already left without us. Mama was very disappointed as she had been looking forward to going there. So papa decided to postpone the visit to Carrara Market to the next day, but mama still got to do her window shopping earlier, at the shops that surrounds our hotel. More pics in mama's multiply site. Here's a slick video of the days event ... by papa of course. Labels: Holidays |

Potty pooing
I've finally did it. I did my business, big business on the potty thingy. But, I did it only to figure why grown ups do it so. My parents were delirious when I did the deed. I don't see the big hoo-hah at all. I find it all too cumbersome. You know to just sit there and wait for the poo to come out. Nahhh! not doing it again. It's just too raw for my liking. Broken Bike
Gahhhh!! I've broken my trusty bicycle. I was a bit rough in dismounting from my bike and it fell on it's side. Apparently, that broke something in the gears and now, the bike is stuck in brake mode!!! Papa tried to repair it. Atok tried his mechanical skills too but to no avail. Errrr?? anyone wants to donate a kiddy bike to me? Make it in pink with tassels .. hihihihi. Labels: Toys |

Vase Incident
I broke mama's flower vase. The one she bought which the flowers were made of clay. The one she was proud enough to show off to relatives that came to our house. The one that she took a photo to show in her multiply site. Maybe that's why she was really, really .... really mad. I do not know what's gotten into me. I'm in a destructive mode. Maybe people are just not listening to me. It's not me! It's the other people! Labels: Growing up |

One size doesn't fit all
My parents are in a quandary. I'm a growing toddler and they can't seem to get the correct diaper sizing for me. I've been using Drypers since year 1. It seems that their XLarge size is too tight for me and their XXLarge is a bit loose. Other brands are nearly offsized for me. My parents are now trying different brands and sizes to see whether they suit me. If you asked me, I prefer to go nekkid .... heheheheh Labels: Growing up |

In Loving Memory
I've just got news that one of my grandmothers had passed away. This is really sad news for me. She was the rotund but ever jovial nenek which never fails to try to hug me and give me little kisses all over. She will be missed. My thoughts are with her in heaven. Labels: Misc |
