What a day!

Yesterday was a very tiring day. And it was only to 3 houses. Mama says that every first day of Idulfitri, we would religiously go to these 3 houses to visit our elders, papa’s parents in Choa Chu Kang, mama’s parents in Yung Ho and Tok Long’s in Hougang. And the atmosphere in each house that we visited was exhilarating and chaotic at the same time. Wherever, we went people keep insisting on me to take small colourful packets. The first few times I refused and tried to give them back. But after the fifth time I gave in and just accepted these small packets and promptly gave them to mama or papa. What’s with these paper packets? Am I supposed to play with them? This is us in our finest trimmings. Selamat Hari Raya everyone.
