The Big Day!

I’ve just realized that my parents were celebrating my birthday one day earlier, which was last Sunday. But I don’t mind, for me a week earlier would be better … hihihihi. Why? I get my gifts earlier … hehheheh. Well on the morning of the big day, after moving furniture around, my father started decorating the house. The place was the most beautiful sight ever. The balloons brighten up the party. I’m smiling now. Papa left the house and came back with my birthday cake. I was clapping wildly because the cake has a big red 1 on it. And more balloons! Yay! After a while, the food came. Mama and papa hastily arranged the food around the table. I wanted to take a look at the fare but papa keeps taking me down from the chair. By now I’m quite frustrated, isn’t it my birthday? I should be doing what I please. By midday everything was ready. But where were my cousins and friends?
