The way home : Day 3

Prelude: The night before, I was in a walking frenzy. Why? I don’t know why, I just felt like walking. I did 5 steps here, 3 steps there, a few steps in between. Tok Din and Nek Jah, after witnessing my “showing off”, finally agreed that I could walk but only if I wanted too. They got that right … hihihihi. The last day, the day to return home was uneventful. We managed a side trip to a small mall before we bade adieu to Melaka. Everyone was tired and the 3 of us slept most of the way home. Tok Din wanted to reach the causeway before 3pm to beat the holiday makers’ jam and this time it worked. We smoothed through both checkpoints and reached home by 2.30pm. What a trip.
